An Unforgettable Night
—A Look Back

R.E.A.C.H. Attends CFHC's Healing Hands Gala

On October 4, R.E.A.C.H. had the privilege of joining our partners at Chicago Family Health Center (CFHC) for their Healing Hands Gala — A Prescription for Success. The evening was much more than a formal affair; it was a celebration of care, collaboration, and deep investment in the health of our communities.

From the moment we arrived, the energy in the room was electric. Elegant decor, warm greetings, and a shared spirit of purpose set the tone. As a partner, we felt honored to be among the sponsors, guests, and leaders who came together for this vital cause. Throughout the night, CFHC’s mission echoed in every speech, every handshake, and every smile.

The focus of the gala was crystal clear: addressing healthcare gaps in south and southwest Chicago, particularly by tackling the challenge of limited access to pharmacies and medications in underserved neighborhoods. In many communities, folks don’t lack doctors—they lack access to the medicines they need. The gala raised awareness and resources to bridge that gap — powering CFHC’s plans for a new onsite pharmacy and expanded care.

Among many inspiring moments, we heard from community leaders, healthcare advocates, and individuals whose lives have been transformed through CFHC’s services. Their stories underscored why R.E.A.C.H.’s partnership matters: real people—neighbors, families, children—depend on these services for their well-being.

As the evening progressed, we networked with other changemakers, shared hopes for the future, and deepened our connection to the vital work being done across Chicago’s South Side. It’s one thing to support a mission in theory; it’s another to stand beside the people carrying that mission forward.

At R.E.A.C.H., we believe leadership is rooted in service. Nights like this remind us why we engage in this work: to uplift, to heal, to transform. Working with CFHC, we look forward to the next steps — the programs, the partnerships, and the impact that lie ahead.

Thank you to CFHC for hosting such a meaningful evening, to all who attended, and to everyone working behind the scenes. Together, we rise. Together, we heal.
